Btw the calendar does not show my wahoo activities on the right date. Instead it somehow pushes them all into todays date. I disconnected the integration and used strava instead (if possible I use wahoo instead of strava for new services i connect. Because. For strava doing strava stuff).
… unfortunately the strava activities do not appear. And I assume this is because of duplicate checking.
… I am totally fine if you delete all my workouts and I start over if you want to fix some stuff.
I see that both planned and completed workouts were synced from Wahoo. The completed ones have the right start time, but the planned ones all have the same start time, which is when you synced them.
Do you happen to have planned workouts in your Wahoo account that are pushed by another app, and if so, which app is that?
Ok, got it. I deleted the ones that were classified as planned. Do you want me to delete the completed ones as well? I’m going to have to investigate why they were classified as planned. Do you remember how those workouts ended up in your Wahoo account? The only data Wahoo gave us was id, name, minutes, and workout_type_id.
I’m pushing a fix for the Wahoo sync so the date and status of those workouts, that were showing as planned with all with the same date, are set correctly. However, Tempo won’t have access to detailed metrics (heart rate, power, etc.) for these workouts due to a limitation on Wahoo’s side:
“Wahoo does not share completed workout data that originates from third-party applications. This means that if a user completes a workout using a third-party application, the workout will not be available in the Wahoo API.” (source:Wahoo Fitness API Reference )
Once the fix is deployed, I’ll clean up the existing workouts so they re-sync with the correct dates.
Going forward: if you keep the Wahoo integration enabled, Wahoo will push new workouts to Tempo automatically when they’re completed. You can also leave Strava connected — Tempo will enrich the Wahoo workout with the Strava name and map. I personally have Garmin, Wahoo, and Strava enabled at the same time.
Strava workouts are being synced. It may take a while as we need to respect Strava’s rate limits. Thanks for your patience. I’ll check this thread tomorrow morning.
As far as i see you are importing only the last year, right? Is there a reason? I understand that if you think that this might be enough for training analysis. I was just wondering.
Good question. One year was the default, but you’re right that it may not be enough to establish accurate baseline fitness metrics. I’ve enabled unlimited syncing for subscribers, so you can go as far back as your history allows. Let me know how it goes.
